Hot springs are great. If you're sensitive to smell, prepare yourself for the sulfur scent in the hot springs.

I love the springs...
Maravilloso lugar
I love this place with all my heart and will retire here in Pagosa one day. The Resort is beautiful, the Suites are gorgeous. HotSprings are great, 24 maintained different pools at various temps and located off the San Juan River. Staff it's first class.
By far the WORST resort I have ever been to! They screwed up our reservation 3 times! Ended up with not enough beds for everyone! They said "yes you can make reservations but they can never grantee you will get the room." What resort does that?!?! If you pay you should get that room you paid for. Don't waste your money here! Not worth it! Have been coming here for 12 years now and they use to be great but their service is going down hill fast! Don't waste your time or money here, not worth it!
If you're looking for the perfect way to relax and enjoy the majesty of the San Juan's and the best water in the world, then you've found the place! B)
