The Grande Dame of Denver – My wife & I spent our wedding night at the Brown Palace, before heading out for our honeymoon the next day. We hosted an impromptu after-party at the Ship's Tavern, with about 25 friends & family. One waitress was able to handle the comings & goings, and get everyone's order delivered. Our room was a high-floor suite. Very romantic! Champange was awaiting us in our room. Every request was handled promptly and graciously.
The suite life – Although I cannot compare my experiences of luxury hotels to much, of what I have experienced, this is the absolute best. We stayed there for our wedding night and by some stroke of nature, we were upgraded to the Presidental Suite. While the suite itself was large and full of hidden surprises, the hotel itself was grand and historic. I cannot say enough about the service, the ammenities and the atmosphere. Definitely one of the best in the west.
