RecommendedWe went camping here,second time.We had our dogs with us and our two kids.It was amazing,we picked a camping spot tucked back with a lot of shade!We went at the end of June and had the best time.Bath house was cleaned often and they did an amazing job.Park rangers were very helpful at the Aviary and in general when we had question.It is now a family tradition to go camping here.We enjoyed a hike from the campground to the dam,went swimming every day and visited the Aviary!

I love Rocky gap but charging $4 per person on a holiday is ridiculous! 16 dollars for taking a child to swim while we are not even swimming is uncalled for and very greedy. I don’t recommend going on a holiday or weekend because of this park being greedy.

We love this park. Super clean rest rooms and showers. Sites are large for RVs. The campfire areas include posts for lanterns. Hiking trails are cleared. Nice place to stay.

I recommend bringing your friends and heading to Rocky Gap State Park where you can relax, forget your troubles and enjoy the view and also the great people and delicious food!
Great park with so much to offer! Friendly, knowledgeable staff who genuinely care about their Park and its visitors!
