RecommendedWonderful ambiance with a delicious twist on traditional Southern food.
Made reservation online for 8. Morning of reservation, phoned to ask “Can we increase to 10?” They say “Sure. No problem.” We arrive, and are taken to a table for 8. They say “We can add 2 chairs to the table.” My friends/guests say “too crowded”, (The are right) and 2 choose to sit apart from the group. Freaking Rocks! Great oysters! Best shrimp and grits outside of the southern coastal cities (Charleston, Savannah, and Nola) plus amazing bourbon, mixed drinks and food.
I wasn't disappointed with anything that we ordered. The appetizers were delicious. The cocktails were fun and imaginative. And the meals were prepared perfectly. The service and hospitality was absolutely top notch. Our waiter was attentive and patient (even in a packed restaurant). He made incredible recommendations and knew everything about the drinks and menu. My only regret was that we didn't save room for dessert. My wife and I are already looking forward to our next visit.
Tasted my first oyster here and the oyster guy talked me through it!!! The staff is awesome and the ribs with the sweet potato fries were amazing
We really enjoyed our lunch at the Southern. We had the shrimp and grits, the Friday egg sandwich, and the steak Benedict. All were absolutely delicious
Very good dinner. We had burger and chicken and gumbo.
Fun, chill, great cocktails and food!
Loved it !!!!!! We had a reservoir 15 and they accommodated us and the food came out so fast and hot!!!!
