We are a craft beer bar and growler filling station with 60 constantly rotating taps. We will fill any growler and are happy to help with any beer related questions you may have! Kitchen opens with the bar and closes 30 minutes before the bar. Our kitchen features locally sourced, fresh ingredients with a menu that changes frequently to stay fresh and seasonal.

Great beer, but even greater service! These people know their craft and can help you find just the right brew!
BEST bar around. Great selection of craft beer, and a amazing farm to table taste of food. If I had to go to one bar/restaurant for the rest of my life, I'd be completely ok with the Southern Growl being that place.
Legit I'm not sure why Southern Growl doesn't have a full 5 stars. 4.9 is way too low. Food is always great and if you can't find a beer you like then, well there's no hope for you :/. Just kidding, staff is awesome and they'll help you find something. Would definitely recommend 27/10 times.

Unique and savory menu items, tasty beers, cool atmosphere. My only gripe is the higher prices on beer. Worth the extra $ at least once a week.

Great selection! Generally always have Kentucky Bourbon Barrel which is a nice constant. If you're not a connoisseur it's nice to just tell whoever is working what you like and don't like and they always help steer you in the right direction. What's also always nice is that if you buy their growler, they will exchange it for a clean one when you're ready to come in and refill. This is the best tap room in the upstate!
The upstate has become quite the place to be for craft beer enthusiast, but this is still my favorite place to drink it. The food is pretty good too! Let's be honest though. I'm mainly there for the brownies.
This place is great. I don't come here nearly often enough but they also have this great bartender that works there. I believe his name is Josh. I should probably stop by to make sure...But the beer is great and they know what they're talking about.
That Burger today was amazing, top knotch beer also!
