Louisville is blessed to house one of the finest theological seminaries in the world. Most SBTS professors are the preeminent experts in their respective fields. The MDIV is more rigorous than many doctorates at lesser seminaries. Under Al Mohler's gifted stewardship, Southern has reached the pinnacle of academic success without sacrificing theological integrity like so many liberal seminaries. Southern graduates are accorded a high level of respect for good reason, they earned it.
I had a great experience here pursuing the Ph.D. degree that helped prepare me for leadership with Biblical and theological insight with discernment for the turbulent times in which we are living. God bless Dr. Mohler and this outstanding faculty as equippers of leaders so needed in the churches today.
The love and care that is shown on this campus cannot be matched, because the source of this love comes from God.
This place is sexist, racist, homophobic and transphobic. It represents all that is wrong with the world today, but it claims to be a place of God's love. Who is looking like the wolf in sheep's clothing now?

I love this place and their ministry. It's solid theologically and engaged missionally while being focused on the church. I recommend this seminary as one of the best places in the world to do a Master of Divinity or Doctor of Ministry (Divinity) degree.
Once was an excellent seminary back in the 60s. Have lost their way in ultra conservatism.
