Best Soda Shop Around If you want to step back in time to a real soda shop come here. It's decor is historic and the food is great. I found this place about 9 years ago and I drive nearly 60 miles one way sometimes just to eat here.
Good food, but often hard to find a seat I like eating at the Soda Shop, but it has so few seats that it's usually difficult to find a place to sit. And, don't even think about taking young kids who need high chairs there -- there's no room for them! The atmosphere is really fun, though, and the food is very good.
Kid Friendly and Yummy!! It's great when the weather is warm to sit out back and just relax. The food is always yummy..must try the grilled pimento cheese sandwich!! (delish)! The staff is always smiling and chatty!! Got to love the toys that are there for the kiddos too!
good yummy food for families The Soda Shop is great fun. There is often a wait at peak times, as the restaurant is small. I love the mom and pop staff and the old-timey atmosphere. Not gourmet food, but good food!

The Towering Club was perfect yesterday!
The service is very poor, the food has very few healthy options and the management is very anti-community as evidenced (in part) by the “ only customers can use the bathroom s” sign.
