I had the pleasure of attending nine weddings last year. One being in Newport. I felt the Society Room was one of the best! Seems many places are cutting on service here and there. It was a pleasure to be wined and dined as a guest all the way through to the cake and coffee! One of the things I noticed was the attention to detail with the food. Again, great food and service! Attentive staff! Great job! Loved it!

POORLY STOCKED BAR. RIDICULUS RULES. RUDE BAR TENDER. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT. My wife and I attended a family wedding at the Society Room on the evening of 9/2/17. I drink neat whiskey: Scotch, Irish or Bourbon, neat (no water, no ice). The entire “open” bar selection was extremely limited and the whiskey selection was more so, consisting of DeWar’s, Johnny Walker Red and Jamison’s.
