RecommendedRecently used for family reunion, had meal catered some 35 miles from Salisbury. Food was phenomenal as was the service we received. They took care of 100% of the meal for us to include plates, drinks etc.. hats off and a “we will use you again, thank you to all involved. Flawless !!!!

Love the BBQ and the Brisket but by far my favorite is their fried okra. I could go every day just for that. Wish we had one closer! I asked for the biggest thing of okra last time and this is what I found when I got home. I was sooo happy!
Hog Heaven!!! Great outdoor seating, fast and friendly service, huge portions and amazing BBQ. The food was top notch... ribs, pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad.

Having grown up in North Carolina, I feel like I can confidently judge BBQ. When I came to The Smoke Pit, I was seriously impressed. This place is GOOD!!! Then we decided to have them cater our wedding and it was good on an entire level! The catering was very reasonably priced and there were lots of options to chose from!! THE. FOOD. WAS. AMAZING!!! This is one of my favorite restaurants around. I have never gotten anything that was not well-prepared and delicious. That hash brown casserole last night (Saturday, April 6th) was absolutely spot on. Service is always great as well. Bonus for me is that I have some left-overs to enjoy today!
