I live right down the street from this place to I gave it a shot because I could just walk my doodle there to get groomed. When I went back to pick him up, I must have surprised the groomer because I didn't pull a car into the lot. My dog was done but she had a very small dog on the grooming table and she was cursing and yelling at the dog to "hold still". I would give 1/10th of 1 star if possible. This 'cut' cost $75, compared to the horrible-but-still-better petsmart at $50. There was one good thing about this experience, my dog was very clean and smelled great. Except for the blood. I will now list the cons (possibly pun intended) They didn't abide by our pre-cut agreement I was charged for the $15 detangling shampoo treatment. How many ways can a grooming appointment go wrong? We have used Smiling dog several times before and were always satisfied so were surprised when we arrived at our scheduled appointment time to find no one there and an "under new management " sign on the door. When we called they said they were stuck in traffic (it had snowed) and to come back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later no one is there but as we are leaving they pull up. My dog had to get staples in his leg because they allowed him to be attacked by another dog under their care. The owner refused to pay for it. Please don't let your pets go here.
