Have been going here for years for cleanings and dental work (by other dentists than Dr Ludke) but after my last experience, I will not be returning. The cost estimates provided before the work started, and what I agreed to were HALF of what I was actually charged but the worst part is Dr Ludke crowned a perfectly good tooth! This is the WORST of the worst Dental Office I have visited along my whole life. The front desk person also in charge of the billing is so crooked. She charged me extra $204 without my authorization. When I complained, her answer was not a n apology but "don't worry, I'll apply this to your next visit." I choose this dental office based on reviews and insurance recommendation. Unfortunately, my experience was less than pleasant. I came with a severe tooth infection and left with the same infection, being advised to make an appointment for another day since apparently, I needed to have extensive dental work done for a ridiculous amount $$$. Complaint Details: March 5, 2024, Saw Dentist at Santa Cruz Dental (Dr Karandeep Minhas, DMD was manager.) New manager in August, Dr. Azadeh Amini, DMD or Abelardo H Valdes, DDS). This dentist cancelled my appointment 2 times with short notice. It is obvious that it was because I was a new patient for discounted exam, cleaning and x-rays. They could make more money from another patient.

Had a tooth extracted. I was anxious prior but the hygienist put me at ease and the dentist was very kind and talked to me during the short procedure. I was very pleased with my experience.

Just left there today 11/26/24. Horrible dentist - awesome caring dental assistant though - I would give Madison a crown for putting up with that guy! She explained everything and spent a lot of time with me. HE, Kevin W. Pierce - and I will NOT call him doctor pierce because 1) He did nothing to earn that title today and 2) he shows zero compassion, nor does he give a flip about his patients.
