My lady friend lives here at the Slate. Every time I visit, I'm impressed with the overall quality of building finishes and the general maintenance. As a retired building contractor of very large high-end custom homes, I can very seldom say this about apartment complexes. A thumbs up to the project manager and finish work supervisors.
Overall, the apartment is quite nice. The environment is clean, the community is quiet, and the general living experience is comfortable. However, there are a few things to be aware of before signing. The water pressure is quite low—honestly even weaker than some places with water-saving fixtures—so daily use like showering can take noticeably longer. Utility costs are also higher than expected.
