Decided to start a form of exercise that we can do into our 90's. After only six weeks of tai chi with Sensei Tim, I was able to join a tai chi class early one morning in a park in Havana, Cuba! Slow and steady progress with lots of encouragement from Tim and the other students make this class perfect for us. I would attend for just the warm up! Tim's Seven Step routine on you tube is an inspiration.
My daughter is LOVING her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class she started this summer. Excellent instructor and the perfect balance between practical learning and fun. We've taken karate at other schools in the past, but she's enjoying this more, and we know she's learning a lot more practical skills in terms of self-defense.
