The days of actual healthcare are gone. I have a hand injury and called to see a doctor at their hand center to consider my options for either treatment or surgery. I was told immediately that they don't accept my insurance so I cannot be seen by their physicians. Without naming the insurance carrier I have, its a national large company. How is our healthcare system so poorly designed where I can't get medical help and I have insurance? Shame on Mercy!
Very friendly, professional, prompt and efficient
I appeared at the office with no appointment (My GP told me to get X-rays and go to the Center). I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Gasbarro was not there. His PA Catherine Novotny took me right in and showed me the X-rays of my shoulder. She was very thorough in her explanations of my chromium fracture. I will see her this week to determine whether I can do range of motion with that arm. I was very impressed with her.
