One of the best, if not THE best, BBQ joints ever.
My sons dream was to eat here , big disappointment. ... bbq sauce, well it's just not good, the brisket had big HUNKS of fat( not joking) no smoke ring . meat was nothing but fatty mess I made them bring me more, yucky ..I realise the place is junk but omg everything is so nasty Dusty it disgusting... 1st & last trip. I the interstate traffic keeps this place in business , poor unsuspecting customers..Sorry y'all
The food was not as order . When asked was geven a box with bread and one with onion and pickles . Really!!! The BBQ bread had NO BBQ . Sad
OMG. LET ME REPEAT OMG. After eating here BBQ has new meaning. The place can be confusing but just ask for help and the good ol' southern hospitality is in all that work there
I think the average person driving by would just keep going, but I had seen the place on TV. However, I thought I was going to have to drag my wife into the place. A bit pricy for a bbq place. Nice menu. Staff was friendly. Excellent brisket, good bark, nice smoke ring, very tender. Baked beans were equally as good, no overpowering flavor, nice and thick. The slaw was not good- dry and absolutely without any flavor. My wife had the brisket and was pleased. She said the fries were very good.
We have been to the Shed twice but it will be more often once we move!!!
Anyone that's traveling through need to stop by this BBQ joint! It looks just like it sounds but mannn the food is awesome!! We had the 7 meat platter (unsure of the official name of it) with the side of baked beans, collard greens, and potato salad. As a country girl, I loved the laid back vibes of this place. My husband & I will definitely be back in the near future! My husband & I are officially "SHEDHEADS"
So glad we were finally able to try "the shed". Have heard so much about it from friends and Food Network. Was not disappointed the pull pork was very good. We will be back the next time we're in Ocean Springs to try the ribs.
Been here once before - it's FANTASTIC. Bringing some home for my boys.
