Absolutely the worst ER experience I’ve ever had (writing this from the waiting area). The nurses here completely lack compassion, empathy, and professionalism. They just sit in the triage rooms on their phones while the waiting room was full of patients. One nurse in triage actually scolded me for not coming in sooner and casually mentioned that I “might” need a CT scan — then sent me back to the waiting area with no further explanation. My experience at Scarborough General Hospital was extremely disappointing and upsetting. I went in hoping to receive proper medical care, but what I experienced was neglect, poor treatment, and a complete lack of compassion. From the moment I entered, I felt like no one cared.
