The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

Loved it...I don't even know how to describe it other than I was frightened, I lmao, and was thoroughly entertained. Great actors, friendly staff, loved the audience partic sound and seat effects..I just wish I could have gotten on the boat underground. great time...I hella wanna go back!!!

I visited yesterday and was amazed by the actors!!!! It was both scary and funny. I really enjoyed my tour:) By the way, if you purchase tickets online you'll save yourself a few bucks!
My newly wed husband and I came here for our honeymoon. What a fun experience! Actors get up close with the audience, getting a few to come "on stage" to briefly interact with them - I LOVED that. The props and sets are elaborate, really adding to the value of the production. My husband and I appreciated how there weren't really any jump-scares, but rather the set, acting and special effects were spooky. LOVED the Plague Room. Such a fun experience, and for a reasonable price, too. Order online for a discount!
I have had the pleasure of going a few times...for those curious it's a must must must!!!! Guaranteed thrills n chills...
Updated December 12th,they fixed the boat ride,its a Christmas Miracle!
