The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

Really glad we went to this attraction it was lots of fun. The actors were great ! You won't be disappointed.
Probably the best part of the day. The actors were amazing and kept you on your toes. Also most of the actors were extremely attractive. It was an hour long show, however, it flew by because you were constantly laughing and moving to different attractions. I absolutely loved it and recommend it to anyone near the area!
#scaryfun It was definitely a delightfully scary adventure! I kept waiting to see what would happen next. The actors kept surprising the audience each time (they move so fast and quietly!). There was a lot of local history I didn’t know about the old San Francisco, fascinating! Can’t wait to go again.

If you are looking for a really scary experience or a great haunted house you will probably be disappointed. There are a couple spots that make you jump a little but there is tons of missed potential. However it was entertaining and (briefly) educational. The sets were outstanding, lots of creativity and work went into them. The boat ride was very short but again entertaining. Try for a groupon or pre order your tickets online for a discount. Awesome sets and actors . There were parts were I couldnt understand what they were saying because of either the music or accents but all in all I was entertain . The Alcatraz part was terrifying.
