The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

I actually LOVED this! The actors were spot on perfect, funny, scary and just all around great, including the staff. I was SO disappointed it ended so soon though. I was just starting to REALLY get my scare on. They were all really good at what they do, i wanted to see more! Such a great time, well worth the visit.
Good clean place. A bit of history a bit of fun. Not scary but a couple of jumps. Well worth the visit.

The San Francisco Dungeon is phenomenal. It is not a stupid tourist trap. It is a perfect combination of a walk through haunted house and watching a play, all while being completely interactive!! It could have easily been lame, but all the actors were amazing and convincing. Everyone in my group were adults, and everyone was having fun and laughing. When I walked the dungeon in dark and I'm thinking this trip might not scared not all. Some part is scared. it's fun like maze mirror to. I will come again
Didn't know what to expect when we walked in. Actors never break character - these guys are dedicated to their craft! Learned things about SF. Recommend for out of towners and natives alike!
