Service was great. (Thanks, Amy!) Favorite part was the fried oysters. Place was dead quiet on a Sat night, but I think the menu could offer some more popular dishes.

I loved the scallop carbonara....as well the mac n cheese and au gratin sides, what a gift, not to mention the fried oysters....nice!!

The best food ever! We ordered snapper, tomato salad, bouilabaisse, oysters and banana bread pudding. All of it was delicious! Waiter/barmen William was friendly and helpful.
Fish was served luke warm, and had way too much salt, brussel sprouts and collard greens were served barely warm, the food had sat too long after cooking yet there were no more than 6 other diners at the time we were served and to add insult to injury, when our waiter ‘finally’ came to refill my sparkling water he took my glass and returned with ginger ale in it, when I explained it wasn’t sparkling water he just laughed it off and didn’t offer to replace it, walked off. Skip this place.

Very nice restaurant/Bar in the Sam Houston Hotel. Had the fried oyster appetizers. I have lived in New Orleans off and on since 1973 and these were as good as I've ever had.
