Don't donate to them they are scamming ppl donate here https://www.facebook.com/mercystreethouston/
The fact that they have good quality clothes and furniture and all kinds of other stuff for a very reasonable price.
Loads and loads of stuff for really good prices! Make sure you set aside some time to come here because it's going to take quite a while to look at everything, but it's well organized and easy to follow if a little crowded due to so much stuff!!!
Talk about being too big. We couldn't get a pickup date for 2 months. We finally had them come out only to say they will only take what's on the list everything else will have to be inventoried then a new pickup date scheduled. I guess there is not much need for in-kind donations anymore. Next time we'll leave our things for trash to ... read more
In the end it shows that the costumer never gets help. Will never shop or donate again. Thanks for nothing.
Horrible experience! They don't honor the prices and the new lady manager there is not friendly it all.
I was very pleased with everything I seen and heard during the annual drug court picnic. I felt blessed to be a part of what the salvation army does to restore and improve the lives of people in recovery. I was a guest of my best friend Kimberly Teter.
I can recall being there in 2008. I learned a great deal about life, and was surrounded by a good staff of people. I worked in the kitchen, warehouse, and was on my program daily. Church was a awesome experience. This program works if you work it. That's real talk. I moved back to the carolinas from this program.
