They were closed. Empty building. I Love Salvation Army, but it is not there.
Be careful if you have kids. Multiple older men on the property have made weird gestures and comments to my 5-year-old little girl. One of the older men tried to fight me because I told him to leave my little girl alone and I notified to staff members and they fail to do anything. We found out meth was getting made in the apartment next door of us and no staff member notified us of the situation and are newborn child from the hospital was exposed. They were great to me, they tried everything to be able to help me when I stopped by unannounced. I witnessed a lot (to me) of what they are dealing with every single day. I have to applaud them for the effort and energy they put out to help those in need. They make sure they have clean clothes to wear - the volunteers wash their laundry. I'm not sure where the food and water came from for dinner, but they had HUGE metal baking trays filled with it, smelled really good and they did offer a plate to me, but being diabetic I w... read more
