Everything about this gem is perfect. Reserving all 5 rooms with my best friends for the weekend made for a unique and private celebration. We will be back! The owners Lisa and John were there to make sure the experience was exactly what we had hoped for. Thank you and Stephanie too!
Loved, loved, loved The Salty Mermaid! I can't say enough good things about it! The room was excellent (we wanted to take the whole bed, pillows and all home with us!), the view can't be beat, the owners are super sweet and attentive without being intrusive, the location is perfectly located near all of the restaurants, bars, and shops, the bathroom was stunning, the backyard/patio areas were perfect for peaceful relaxation with the best views. Stayed here on my birthday. Directly on the beach, private beautiful room and great bathroom at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend and I am very particular. A hidden gem !
The Salty Mermaid was a great little find and certainly are looking forward to our return visit soon. To have an ocean front room a block from Flagler Ave in New Smyrna is a find. Add on the very comfortable beds, cleanliness and great owners and staff and you have a gem just an hour from Orlando. See you next time!
