The Salted Slate is one of our favorite treats- we have never had anything less than an amazing, delicious meal there and the staff is just excellent. They're so down to earth and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. They all seem so proud to work there and to represent their restaurant and chef the very best they can. The food is fun, creative, and beyond delicious. My best tip? Order the soup. No matter what it is. ORDER THE SOUP! The soups are the stuff dreams are made of.

Day #15 Stop #10 on RI FoodFights Annual BestSandwichRI Showdown!!! ...Curried Chicken Salad, Roasted Turkey Club and off the menu, the Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich...other FF options included a Reuben and a Cubano...we came in a few days ago after lunch, RIFF options only available for Lunch, I missed the email! ALL 3 were delicious!!! Btw...this NEVER happens...THREE clean plate clubs...I am stuffed but we’re getting the hidden honey Creme Brûlée with 3 spoons...needs a little more ginger kick in the Creme and a bigger ... read more
Unpretentious rustic handcrafted elegance. Local fare prepared with time honored tradition meets global creativity. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Wonderful waitstaff and thoughtful back of house who care about guests' experiences. Delightful charcuterie choices, meat cuts butchered in-house, homemade ravioli, delectable sauces that tempted me to lick the plate (I refrained bc i was in public) and deserts combine well with a diverse wine, beer, and spirits menu. It all combined to invite me to come back soon to try more!
