The staff was not that friendly. When the little girl I was with asked for a refill the waitress snapped "of?" We were told to wait until the waiting room but we did not know where that was located and when we walked in we stood at the door for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged our presence. Rlthe cookies they handed out were from the Keebler elves. I still tipped 15% and I would like to go back on Taco Tuesday. We will see. The food buffet was delicious.
We went for the Polar Express dinner. The atmosphere of the train was excellent! Santa showed up and the kids were so excited. The food on a scale of 1-10 was a 3. Otherwise it was a lot of fun.
The Polar Express event was awesome!! It was fun for the entire family! The elves (staff) made sure everyone had what they needed the entire time and were all treated with so much respect! This is a must do event fir families at Christmas! Great job Salted Rim!
We came for the Polar Express dinner. We did it last year too and fell in love with the place...we really enjoy it!!
Maybe the guests attending the train event were more important. I ordered steak, they were out of it. Ordered a "bowl " it was okay, not great, not terribly hot either. It took a while to get our food. Server was inexperienced but did okay.
My kids really enjoyed the Polar Express experience! Thanks for helping us make a special memory!

We stumbled across the Salted Rim accidentally looking for a friend. The friend wasn't there BUT made a lot of new friends with the staff. Katie, the bartender, & Hope, Scott and Amber other employees, were engaging and provided excellent service. Other patrons were just as inviting. Food was great. Restaurant was clean, tastefully decorated for the holidays and jukebox on hand if you are into music. A lot of fun on a slow rainy night.
