Welcome to The Salted Pig. We are a casual gastropub located in downtown Riverside. Here we have but one goal: to serve what we feel is the best local and sustainable food, unique craft beers, boutique wines and high-end spirits possible. We wanted to create a place where everyone would love to hang out, that didn't close early or require reservations a month in advance. Be sure to check out our 12 rotating craft beer taps, our oak grilled burgers, and daily specials.

Good as advertised. MSG burger was built to perfection. Just our first trip, but the lass and I will be back for more
It's fantastic if you like super trendy, overpriced, overrated, marginal food. The service was great if you like a condescending hipster a-hole to tell you, "we don't kill our meat twice." I can't get a hamburger well done? Not at this place. I guess it's not Burger King, you can't have it your way. PS - I know you want to make everything your own special creation, but you can't do better then Heinz.

I agree that we are not Burger King. We are merely jesters in the court of the indisputable king of burgers. We do our best though. Side note: We prefer Hunts over Heinz any day. I bet you like Pepsi too. Not that it matters because we don't make our own soda, but if we did I am sure you would write a review about how great Pepsi is and how you "can't improve on what can only be referred to as the carbonated nectar of the gods". We will stick with our ketchup either way though.
The really good removed from the menu??? Are you kidding me... who's great idea was this? Fire that person. Lost a star in my book.
The pork belly is off the charts, as is the bacon ice cream, the long wait here is worth it, the awesome hostess called us so we could "wait" at a local bar. This spot is me and the bf anniversary spot, was our first great date ❤️

We were there last night celebrating my husband's birthday. I called to see if we could make reservations at 7 because we were bringing our 3 small boys. You don't take reservations, which is fine. We got there at about 6:30 and they told us a 45 min-1 hr wait. We ended up waiting an hour and a half and the kids were getting tired. Being a little frustrated, we waited because of my husband's birthday. I love it here! The Street Tacos and The Pretzel Bread Pudding are my favorite items. They also have a great selection of craft beer!
