Finally got a chance to try The Salt Lick BBQ. My husband and I have been anxious to see if it lives up to its reputation. We live in the Houston area and as native Texans, we take our BBQ very seriously. We each ordered the Rancher plate, which gave us a sample of all of the meats. The best meat was the turkey. It had a great smoky flavor and was very tender. As for the other meats, we've had better at many of our favorite BBQ restaurants in the Houston area. The sides?
