Here at, The Salish, we try to provide our customer's with everything they would need to have a relaxing, refreshing, and memorable stay on Orcas Island. Each cottage has it's very own hot tub, BBQ, deck, and access to the Sauna. The ocean is your backyard here at, The Salish, and friendly Bald Eagles, curious Deer, and sometimes the occasional Orca Whale are your neighbors.

RecommendedOne couldn't spend enough time in this lovely vacation home to see everything. The decor is a magical blend of cabin in the woods/ old English-European antique/ fairy tale. The views from the deck are breathtaking. A sweet (not making a joke here!) deer visited us on several occasions. At night there was such quiet as we have never "heard" before. My absolute favorite place on earth. I have stayed here a few times and every time is wonderful.
This place is magical. Can't wait to get back! Stayed at two of the cottages and both had hot tubs and amazing views of the ocean sound.
Spectacular! Not only is the natural beauty of the island breathtaking but the look and feel of each of the cottages is inspiring. Highly recommend.
Just returned from the Salish on Orcas Island. We stayed in Heron Cove and it was charming, peaceful and located in a perfect spot. We immediately got into a routine of breakfast, some exploring, lunch and then back to read and nap in this delightful place. Hot tub and onsite sauna was enjoyed each evening too. Met the owners, great folks. Hope to be back!

A place and space filled with inspiration, delight, wonder, mystery, and elegance - this is an introvert's paradise and an extrovert's playground. Choose any cottage to come and be refreshed while taking deep breathes of island air. I cannot wait to return.
