We hosted my father’s 80th celebration and our guests were in the best of hands. The buffet food was delicious and kept piping hot while continuously replenished. Thanks to Sam for keeping track of all the cocktails so efficiently and kindly. Thanks also to Lee Ann for her great customer service and planning and Griffin for helping us set up. Great team! I have been to the Rudder many times since it’s our neighborhood restaurant and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and crowd. The private party was a success!
Be careful with your check. Several “phantom drink orders” showed up on my tab. The bar staff did not understand how that happened. Not good.

Wonderful food- got take out with a assortment of hot sandwiches. Brisket sandwich smoked was best! Fried flounder sandwich was awesome. French fries cooked right not greasy with fancy salt flakes. The wings we got was garlic Parmesan on a dry smoked wing. The perfect amount of smoke balancing the tenderness of meat. This has completely blown my mind the smoked goodness we found in food today. Going back for more smoked meats soon Now*✨🌟👍
Loved the vibe. Sitting on the patio with an ice cold drink.in my hand listening to some wonderful music. What could be better?
I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken with grits, collard greens and mango chutney. Oh my gosshhh so good! I’ve never had collards without using vinegar - these are SO good with that little bit of sweet! And the grits were different - they were almost fluffy like 😂 but amazing. So much flavor. Will definitely be back! :)
