Very Average Experience – Terrible service from the start. No help with the luggage to our rooms!
Romantic and Beautiful – Even though you will be dropping a pretty penny on the hotel it is well worth it. The hotel service was outstanding from the second I stepped off the shuttle to the second I checked out. Everyone was friendly, helpful and speedy. This extended to the Surf Room staff as well. My only service complaint was the somewhat slow and inattentive service we received at two visits to the Mai Tai Bar. Oasis in Waikiki – The big pink palace is a great place to stay if Waikiki is your destination. It's quiet and elegant, surprising since it's located in the heart of busy Waikiki. The pool is small, but the beach is where it's at. The Royal has a long strip of beach roped off from the masses, with lounge chairs and umbrellas, which is great. The grounds are beautiful, too.
