I've been going to Greg for a few years now. I am super picky when it comes to my barber I've been to no less than 10 barber shops since moving here from NJ. Greg is the ONLY person, and Rosewood is the ONLY shop that was worth a second look. The owner Laken, is also a solid choice. I have moved too far away to make it here on a regular basis, and I am so excited to go back for the first time in a while next week. Gonna follow up with Spicy Boyz fried chicken for a perfect afternoon.
I had my first haircut at Rosewood Barbershop yesterday with Laken. I wear my hair slicked back, and often get the hair cut around my cowlick too short and the hair sticks up! Laken took that into consideration, and gave me the EXACT haircut that I wanted. The vibe of the shop is relaxed and old school, and they had old movies playing on the tv which I loved. I can’t say enough good things about Rosewood Barbershop and I will definitely be back in 2-3 weeks.
EDIT: Someone (i’m assuming the owner) reached out and offered to give me a refund IF I take down this review. I declined because I felt it would be unethical to do so. Two people from the shop also stalked my LinkedIn for some reason which felt like an inappropriate response. You, the consumer, should know that this business has attempted to offer me money in exchange for removing my negative review, which raises concerns about their commitment to honest feedback and transparency. Terrible customer service. Was on the phone with the owner after being a customer for 5 years and she hangs up on me. Was helping her understand that part of her system wasn’t working as to why I missed my appointment twice the two days before hand. Asked about her next opening and she hangs up. Will never be going back.
I've never been a loyalist to any barber but Eric has changed that! The man can give a great haircut - couldn't recommend more.
