Rose is a gem This is a very nice hotel that if it had more amenities would probably be a 5 star hotel. room was huge since we got a suite. I hear the standard rooms are quite small.
Nice but a little spendy I have never stayed there, but I did sit in the lobby and enjoy a $7 Sierra Nevada :-/ I could have paid that price and an A's game and gotten some sports instead of a stuffy bartender. The atmosphere was elegant, but it was not exactly my style.
It's Beautiful but.... – The Rose hotel is beautiful but the staff is rude, snobby, and does little to make guests feel welcome. In a small town environment like Pleasanton wants to promote, businesses should work hard to make guests feel welcome. I felt as if the desk clerk was acting as if I had no business asking for directions to my room. Great place to stay for special occasion!! We love the Rose hotel we stayed their for our Honeymoon night when we got married next door at the Pleasanton Hotel. The rooms are beautiful and each room has a fresh rose on the wall. We return their each year to have a drink in their lobby bar to reminise about our special day. We even took our wedding pictures in their lobby on the stair case and John Madden passed by and we got pictures with him. What a great place to stay I would recommend it to anyone.
small Rose Hotel is just a stand alone, privately owned establishment. The thing that stood out about it to me was the very small size. The basic amenities are included: complimentary coffee, wake up calls, television, things like that. I thought the bathrooms could be a bit bigger. It was hard to turn around or move very much in the shower stall.
World Class Hotel My husband and I stayed in this hotel the night of our wedding and continue to return every year on our anniversary. This hotel offers world class accomidations and the greatest customer service. The price is higher than a chain hotel but the accomidations and customer service are worth the price that is paid.
