The Root Beer Stand has been a close-knit family operation from day one and remains so today. As a matter of fact, both of our main cooks met the men they married while working at The Stand. RecommendedAppropriately priced for a perfect little off the grill dinner. Root beer float was awesome! I had the footling Timmy and it was pretty darn good. The lady had a chili dog she loved and little man smashed his hamburger like nobody’s business. Perfect for a cute little date night/ family night
We highly recommend the Timmy Dog with a Lemonade or a Root Beer Float..!! Fresh ingredients, friendly staff.. We have never been disappointed with our orders. 1950’s Vintage-Era sets this place apart from the rest. IT’s A FAVORITE AMONG THE LOCALS. When you have out-of-town-guests The Root Beer Stand is an ideal choice for lunch or dinner. I hope when you stop in, the Locomotive in the rear yard is coming thru, nostalgic feeling hearing the train on the tracks and sounds it’s whistle-horn. Good food, good rootbeer float and family fun!
Had a Timmy without onions. It changed my life!
I stopped in when I got stuck in traffic on I-275 on my way home. I decided to get off at the next exit which was three minutes from The Root Beer Stand. I had a 1/4 lb cheeseburger, chips and a mug of root beer. My food was ready in maybe five minutes and it was hot and delicious. Hopefully the next time I get stuck in traffic I'll be nearby the Root Beer Stand.
