We came back to The Root and had a great experience last night. You were slammed at 6:30. Your hostess apologized for the wait to be seated even though it was only about 10 minutes. We went for a couple of specials on the menu again and definitely were NOT disappointed. I had the turkey/bacon/swiss croissant with sweet potato fries, my wife had the sweet apple/bacon sandwich.
