I AM ONLY LEAVING 1 STAR, BECAUSE THERE IS NO 0 STAR RATING... Came here and spent $3,000+ on a bedroom set. Had issues with it from day one. The quality and workmanship is very poor. Spoke with Sales Manager Loyd several times... also spoke with James the manager. They both lied several times and should be fired. I have bought 3 sofa sets from this location so far . I am very pleased with my purchases. The salespeople are very calm and helpful , they never pushed me for buying extra stuff. I always look for one sales person there and his name is Mansoor Malik , because he always give me right advice.
Bought a bunk bed from Shelby St. store. When delivered they assembled it with one slat that was too short to reach all the way across the frame. Therefore, it caused side board to broke as soon as child got into bed. Called to have it repaired, they came with a new side board, but not a new slat that would fit all the way across frame. Therefore, side board broke again shortly after repairman left. Have called store to reschedule another repair. This bed was too expensive to have to deal with this problem. This is the worst furniture store i have ever been to. I will never ever recommend anybody to go and purchase from this store.. I bought so much from here and bought warranty as well. recently my dining table which i bought was damaged which was noticed only after year and half, but they say that's not caused by accidental damage and so they don't cover it. I purchased a 2 peice nice set & ottoman over a month ago & have yet to receive the ottoman...they lie & are very rude...I will never shop there & wouldn't recommend anyone else to neither
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The sales associate was less than helpful and would only talk to my husband. The general manager Azad Talabani was rude, unfriendly, arrogant, demeaning, etc. and treated my family and I like trash. We ended up returning our $1200 dining room set due to the poor customer service and the return was a nightmare as well. We paid cash but could not get cash back. Do not go to this store no matter how good the deal they promise you, as they will not deliver on their promises! We ordered an expensive couch, were promised delivery 5.5 weeks later as the couch had to be ordered. After confirming the week before that everything was in place, the NIGHT BEFORE delivery, 3 different employees called with different stories and rudely told us that parts of our couch would not be available for delivery the next day despite their promises. I bought a bed from here recently and I absolutely love it!! I first checked out the beds at IKEA but I wasn't too thrilled with their styles, it just wasn't what I was looking for. But the RoomPlace gave me a great choice and a great price. I couldn't be more satisfied.
