The Rookery is simply one of the greatest spots in Macon- or all of Central Ga. Our culture represented well!
The burgers are amazing! Love the fried pickles and chips too! Friendly staff and the food comes out pretty fast! Best burgers in town😊
Solid menu---all pub staples. Fish and Chips (real British chips, not American fries--though you can opt for them). The cod was awesome. Malt vinegar available. :) Fried Shrimp. Pub burgers. Etc. Personnel were attentive and friendly. Good vibes. Definitely a place to check out when in downtown Macon if you're looking for a reliable casual lunch experience.
Lunch there yesterday .. GREG "best waiter ever" took great care of us .. be back soon .. really like new expansion .. jazz lunch music was really fun
Always hard to decide which burger to eat! My advice is to try them all! Service was great as always and finally tried their famous milkshakes! Double chocolate and strawberry. Yum!
Love the Rookery! Every time we go, it is always a great experience. Love the atmosphere and crowd.
Today I ate at Rookery for the first time. It was amazing! The fried green tomatoes were divine and Greg, our server, was excellent! Our food arrived quickly, our drinks were refilled quickly and often, and Greg had excellent recommendations for us when we just couldn't choose from the numerous mouthwatering choices on the menu. Eat at Rookery! And ask for Greg! He's the best!!
Had a Great time this afternoon listening to Greg Black and Friends, and enjoying the great food and drinks!
