Lovely friendly non intimidating club. The staff are friendly, encouraging and helpful. The personal trainers are well worth the money. I've not lost weight, but have lost inches. Even on the days when we don't really want to go, we always feel so much better when we do. The grounds are great to relax in after a workout. Haven't swim for years, but the pool was so inviting. Highly recommend the River Club.
A current employee of this club has been sharing private and personal information about a previous employee with a member who then has decided divulge this information on a social media platform. Completely unprofessional and embarrassing on their behalf. Shows the true reflection of this club really.
This is a great club, so friendly, huge variety of classes, and all set in beautiful grounds. I have belonged to gyms most of my life, but this is definitely my favourite. I love the holistic approach to fitness for all levels and the staff are so approachable for help and encouragement. And best of all at the end of my workout there is always a good choice of sandwiches, protein bars etc and coffee! Well done to all who run the club, and may you go on with new ideas, welcoming lots of new members.

The River Club is fantastic! The staff are really friendly and very welcoming. They have great selection of different fitness classes to suit everyone, a lovely gym and a great swimming pool. I highly recommend joining this amazing club 😊

I highly recommend the River Club, it really feels like my home from home! Based in a gorgeous setting, lovely building there is a full class timetable with a wide range of classes suited to all interests and abilities. The gym is well equipped and the pool area is great especially on a hot day when the roof retracts. Best of all though is the atmosphere which is made from the great staff team and PTs and the friendly members! Made some great friends. Lovely unpretentious club with small and dispersed exercise areas. Very good quality equipment. Specialized spin cycle areas and a small heated pool. Although the shower room could be updated. Friendly staff and instructors. Lovely lawn outside.
