I have been fortunate to travel much of the world but this is still one of my favorite places. It's casual, relaxed and I feel like I'm bringing my kids to summer camp but with all the 5 star amenities to make it effortless. We swim, boat, play in the sand, swing, hammock and of course eat s'mores. It feels a world away yet is so close and full of peace and relaxation. On rainy days there are so many cozy places to curl up and plenty of games for the kids to play. Worth the drive even for a night or two.
The property is absolutely beautiful everywhere you go. The property is extremely dog friendly as well. Dinner services were impeccable at Georgia's and Linger Longer. Presentations of food were beautiful and the flavor followed up nicely behind the presentation. Pool side was great. Absolutely on top of their game on all sides. The staff and the grounds were 5 stars. Got engaged there last week, it was beautiful. Clean room, great views and staff was awesome. However, being a foodie, our engagement chimnena dinner??? Was horrid.. being a foodie I expect a lot, especially for 150 a plate. Everything was prepared hours earlier, wrapped in sweat wrap, soggy, over cooked, flavorless etc.... Ughh not good but at least now we know to not do this again, such a shame...

I just spent an amazing few days at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds at Lake Oconee. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was scrumptious, and the service was impeccable. There are a variety of activities to meet the needs of the young and the not so young. My only regret is that my stay was not long enough. I look forward to returning to this gorgeous facility.
I love going to Gabys for food and drinks. The staff is awesome and the rooms are cozy and comfortable!!!
