Anything I can say about this bar... wouldn't do it justice.... you have to drop in, and you'll see for yourself that it's bar none, THEEE bar in the sunset.... the edge of the western world... the bar is certainly it's own entity, but in my opinion, the people in it ate what make it for me!....
The Riptide is a jewel of an establishment that San Francisco is fortunate to have. Everyone associated with the Tide are top notch folks. It is a great purveyor of Americana music as well, a must have in a world of decreasing clubs.
Best bar ever. But don't tell anybody about it. It's a neighborhood bar. For neighbors. Lots of other bars in SF you can go to.
