Never live here! I lived here for a year and regret giving every cent to these heartless people. They just want your money and are the worst customer service I've ever talked with. Worse than Comcast, worse than AT&T, just absolutely terrible. Their units when I lived there last year had a bug problem, there was a noise problem, and management doesn't care about you. Oh and they also will tow your friends. I hated living there and hope to save someone from the misery of dealing with these people.
Don’t let your student move here! Just moved into an absolutely filthy apartment- spider webs on the ceiling, dog hair everywhere, filthy bathroom, bugs. Spent forever cleaning someone else’s disgusting filth! Complained and they said they would send someone who never showed. We had to move in so guess who cleaned! They owe me a cleaning fee! I guess I should have known better. Had a student who lived in their sister property, The Standard, last year and they never cleaned the construction concrete off the outside of the win... read more
One star is too good. Please do not spend your money here or allow your student to spend theirs. Nothing they have promised has ever come to fruition. Forget customer service, their idea is to ignore you until you go away.
This place is absolutely awful!!! The houses were built quickly with a complete disregard for safety. The plumbing in our kitchen was missing pipes, which caused flooding and mold. There are exposed electrical wires out in the open. Water leaked through the ceilings, soaking the carpet. The list goes on and on... save yourself from a nightmare and avoid this place like your life depends on it.
I wish The Retreat would have been built two years ago because it is definitely my favorite place I have lived since I moved to College Station. I don't want to live anywhere else for the remainder of my college career. The apartments are very spacious and the pool is great! Not to mention my HUGE walk-in closet and private bathroom. There have been a few problems here and there but The Retreat always fixes them quickly. LIVE HERE!!
Give conflicting information and answers to questions. Parent company, Landmark Companies, will not return phone calls. Amenities and property extras not provided as promised or not functional. Would not recommend.
I really love living here at The Retreat! The location and amenities are great, and the staff is even better! As with any new location, there are a few rough patches, but the staff does everything they can to help out the residents!
