In terms of eye care, I have no complaints. Dr Minarcik is great. My wife has been seeing him for years. A week ago, I was a new patient. The support staff leaves much to be desired. I made an appointment about 6 weeks in advance. I confirmed that my insurance would be accepted before making the appointment. Literally 24 hours before my appointment, I was sent a link so I could "build my patient record." It included a medical history and submitting insurance information. I owe much gratitude to Dr. Kasi of the Retina Group of Washington. He literally saved my eyes when I developed severe complications that nearly made me blind. He took his time to explain exactly what was going on with my eyes and how he intended to fix it. I have 20/20 vision again thanks to him. You feel like you are with your best friend when you visit his office. Thank you Dr Kasi.
I would give definitely 5 stars to Dr. Minarcik's care. He has given me so much relief. When you have billing questions, it makes everything hard. The statement says we either call 301 number or send a message on patient portal but you cannot actually send a message. It is disabled. It is one-way communication. I can only see the messages or statement from them but I cannot reply or initiate a message. ***do not go here**** what a sham! Can I leave zero stars? Absolute worse medical experience ever! Horrible, horrible, horrible. Dr? Sabbagh was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical “professional” Not only did he keel me waiting for over 45 minutes and no one had the decency to advise me he was running late but when he FINALLY did his exam he was dictating to his assistant via iPad.
