Because my English is not very good, I found Dr. Sheng online. From the very beginning, he made me feel comfortable and respected. He is extremely professional and incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly in a way I could understand. I later learned that Dr. Sheng is a retina specialist, but he did not limit his care to only his specialty. I would highly recommend Dr. Rachel Chen and Dr.Bavinger. Dr. Chen was so thorough, knowledgeable, intelligent, and professional. She was able to communicate that I had a retinal detachment and needed emergency surgery. Dr. Bavinger was my surgeon and he did an amazing job explaining the procedure and with the surgery. I am on my way to healing all thanks to these two!
Excellent experience at The Retina Group of Washington in Tysons. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Technician Osamu and Dr. Chun were professional, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout. Dr. Chun explained everything clearly, and I feel very confident in the care I received. Highly recommend!
I am a patient of a number of years there. The big problem is billing. They do not allow you to see a doctor until you pay a deductible (though you say that you do not have a deductible!), and then it takes months and months, and many-many calls to get it refunded. And accounting department is very rude and uncooperative! I am still waiting!
