Great place to eat. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and super service.
We drove across the bridge to have lunch, which we do several times a year. The food and wine was just fine, as always, but were disappointed this time that we had to eat inside. We love sitting outside enjoying the view. We started there, but were soon bombarded by yellow jackets and had to move in. Nobody's fault, just disappointing.
Honestly, the one star given is a stretch. What started as a nice exploratory lunch on an untimely day off from the winery. My coworker and I opted for "The Restaurant..." because this $$$ place boasts about their 8oz burger "featuring" estate raised beef. A wonderful dining experience. The decor is warm and relaxing, the service friendly, the food delicious and the presentation spectacular.
Kevin was our waiter and his service was excellent! We sat outside on the patio under the shade of a tree with a view of the expansive lawn. Our lunches were delicious! Very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely plan on coming back again.
Wente's is one of the best restaurant in Alameda county it is clean and the service is great
Normally my favourite place to go an celebrate something. This time it just did not meet expectations. Good was good but not great, service was ok but not top notch.
Very expensive and was not impressed with the food. Will not eat there again.
