I cannot say enough good things about The Refinery! All the instructors are so genuine and kind, as well as all the clients. I hated going to gyms because I was so self conscious, but The Refinery has such a welcoming atmosphere. The instructors really take the time to teach you correct form to make sure you are working the right muscles and not injuring yourself. I LOVE The Refinery! All of the instructors do such a great job and make the atmosphere really welcoming. Sheryl, the owner, is the best! I am so glad I found this hidden gem. I have already lost 20 pounds and 4 pants sizes from the toning and cardio I get from the exercises. It is dance inspired, but you are actually not dancing at all! The exercises focus on burning the muscles out to build strength. And they are very low impact so anyone can do them, even with existing injuries! Amazing place with really experienced and patient instructors. They know when and how to help you to make progress while keeping safe and free from injuries. It is smaller class size compared to many of the studios in market so the instructors could make sure everyone is doing it in the right posture for every pose - you don't get that often in Singapore! This is a first class barre and fitness studio. The instructors are well trained and very helpful, they care about your progress. There is a great variety in the routines, no class is ever the same so you don't ever get bored. I really love the emphasis on ballet-inspired isometric exercise. The instructors here are awesome they truly care about their clients. They try to help in any way possible to help you attain your goals and motivate you each day. Each class is different from one another. I have been working out there for the past 6 months and have not done the same class twice. The class atmosphere is great as well. You also see results immediately so long as you keep at it. I really recommend the Refinery if you're looking for a barre studio to join :)
