The cuisine at the Red Fox is an eclectic blend of favorites from around the state influenced by Chef Rob's travels and experiences. We are setting the standard for coastal Texas cuisine with long time favorites like blackened red fish, fried catfish, and chicken fried steak, but also mix in some of our own creations like boudin stuffed shrimp, snapper creole, chimichurri pork tenderloin, and duck breast with brandied cherries. If your in the mood for a steak, Chef Rob prepares the best in town, cooked over an open flame.

The Red Fox is the only restaurant of its sort in the Baytown. Great lunch specials, friendly staff, and stellar food. Gauranteed the freshest seafood in town and live music nightly by some of the areas most talented musicians. No cover charge, no overpriced entrees, just a fun place to spend an evening and have a wonderful meal. Get away from the chain restaurants and find out what "real" food should taste like.
Delicious meal! Decided to try the Red Fox recently when I discovered that they serve venison. I'm big on 'casual', and though it was upscale in appearance we settled right in! LOL Boy was it DELICIOUS! Our meal did not take overly long. We ordered the lobster & crab cakes appetizer that was the special of the day-they were very good with real flaky crab and succulent lobster. An Upcoming Restarant with alot of potential – I have recently taken over the management of this promising restaurant. The staff has potential and they are working very hard through training to be better. We are revamping the menu and upscaling the quality of fare served here. Delicious Unique Seafood – Groupon led us here. It's a lovely place on a revitalized W. Texas Ave. The red snapper Mache Choux and the JazzedUp fried shrimp were first class dishes with a real gourmet flair. The Wednesday evening crowd was small. We enjoyed the soft background music. Prompt service and short wait for excellent food. No complaints.
A Very Good Restaurant – I really enjoyed my visit to The Red Fox Restaurant. I had heard alot of rumors, so I wanted to see for myself. Well, it was great. 3rd time is a charm, I hope. The food has a great flavor. However, during my last 2 visits, the sides have been cold.
History Repeats – Went to the Red Fox last night for a quiet dinner date with my wife. The hostess was pleasant and seated us promptly, but quiet was not on the menu in so far as the wait staff. If I wanted loud southern hospitality, I would have went to a BBQ restaurant. The self professed waitress, slash bartender, slash manager was out of place with the ambiance of the facility. It started out good... – Our first trip there, the food was excellent. The service was a little too casual. I don't really like to chit chat with the waitstaff while I'm eating. On our second trip, the quality and temperature of the food went down and the chit chat level went up. The server was attentive, but it took a while to get out food.
