Specialties "By turns cozy and sexy, laid-back and fleet, the Red Cat is a restaurant Rorscach, different things at different times to different people. Its fluid, flexible nature is such that it seems - and is - in equal measures a local joint and a destination... I always leave the Red Cat happy." -- Frank Bruni, The New York Times, June 29 2005.

Enjoyed Easter Brunch at Red Cat and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very nice, sort of NYC meets Vermont. The location is ideal, right off of the High Line (which we walk every Easter) and staff is very friendly. I had the skillet fried pancake with bacon, both were delish. My wife enjoyed the eggs sunny side up with sausage. We definitely recommend Red Cat to locals and visitors.
Truly excellent service, charming ambience and delightful food!!
Just the most welcoming people and the food and wine truly exceptional .... We were in a hurry (theatre date) but the crew were seriously accommodating!!! Excellent !!
Great local Chelsea restaurant that has been going since 1999. Beautiful food, wonderful service and a great New York experience
Very nice low key spot. Service was good. Could've been better. The food was ok. It wasn't worth the price. One time it was ok.
