I met Rey in an open house. He was offering 1% of purchase price credit toward down payment/closing cost if work with him as a buyer agent. I decided to have him as my agent because I thought that's a good deal. My offer got accepted on a property. My loan was from a credit union with low closing cost. Rey provided wrong information regarding giving me credit toward down payment. Because later he mentioned down payment can not be credited by him.
