Ive been a resident of Decatur for nearly 40 years. This was my second visit and strangest experience. I liked it so much that I bought my wife back today. They never greeted us, didn’t give us a menu, walked past us several times without looking our way. Eventually we decided to leave. On our way out I asked if it was their practice not to acknowledge customers. I still don’t understand the response , we don’t have table service for another half hour. Great vibes, music was great. Ssrvicd was good & appettizers delicious!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. It was quiet and relaxing.
We hosted the nicest wedding welcome party at the Reading Room. Mary and the staff were outstanding. So knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. Food and service were great! We would highly recommend them for any kind of private.event!
