I personally don't know how anyone could give this place only a one star rating. My own experience was vastly different. Granted, I wasn't there on any holiday, so they weren't understaffed or rushed at all. But the service I experienced was very good, and the same can be said about the food. Delicious! Wonderful and very interesting settings/surroundings, too. Not the easiest location to find, admittedly. But I was/am very happy with the Ranch House.
What an enchanting place! The historic decor and surroundings were magical. The appetizers were to die for. The prix fixe menu is an amazing deal. Everything was presented beautifully and delicious!
Great service, great food (watermelon salad and short rib...mmmm), great atmosphere. A winning combination for a great anniversary celebration!
Great restaurant, kind of tucked away in Ojai....locals seem to be regulars. If you are there try the watermelon salad...it's really refreshing
The appetizer portions were small and the salad was dry with very little dressing. The dessert was also not very special and small. The entrees were really great though! Great meat! Beautiful setting.
First time here and will not be our last. Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food from start to end was delicious. The eggplant was wonderful!
Nice atmosphere beautiful garden had a four out of five course meal that was great watermelon salad was awesome love the filet mignon and dessert was delightful, did not enjoy the house wine, they have a great wine list though!!!
It doesn't miss a Mystical beat .... Beautifil setting ! Wonderful Dining in a Lush Garden that pleases everyone that enters its Wooden Doors. Everything Amazing about it !
