Visited during the Christmas holidays during lunch. Place was packed so we sat at the bar. First off, I LOVE to sit at the bar. You get to meet nice people (as was the case at the RY) AND you get to watch the magic going on in the kitchen. Drinks: The beer selections are BOSS. Service is awful. The people honestly do not care if you patron their restaurant. The food is fine if you want to wait long enough to get it. Last trip we left without getting our drinks... waitress and hostess watched as we left. I made it a point to be obvious that we were leaving and unhappy.. not one (hostess,waitress,waiter) said a word. I can't imagine why anyone would want to spend their time and money at this place. Jordan, I am appalled at the level of service or lack thereof that you have received on your visits to The Railyard. I sincerely apologize for the gross oversight on behalf of the staff and myself. I assure this is not our standard of service, I admit that as we have grown that we have made some mis-steps. If you do ever decide to give us another try, I urge you to ask for Chef Bill, so that I can apologize face to face. Thank you for your feedback, I will be using it as reference in all further server/hostess training.
I've visited twice. The first time we waited at least 10 minutes before someone took our drink orders, and that was after we'd gotten the attention of two servers. The burgers and atmosphere are great if you can get service. The second visit no single server ever approached our table. Four different servers walked by us and waited on other tables- delivering checks, taking drink orders, even taking pictures of one party. We left our seats while the hostess watched us. I went for the first time last night and it was delicious. The service was great also.
The food was excellent, extremely flavorful and we'll presented. Service was great considering the crowd that was there. Short wait time for seating as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner.
